 About

Born and raised in Los Angeles during the 1960’s and 70’s, I took up photography at the age of twelve using a Kodak camera given to me by my grandmother.  With the advent of digital photography, I missed the tactile experience of working in a darkroom and the anticipation of not knowing what the photograph would reveal.  After my grandmother (an artist herself) died, I found myself gravitating toward painting.  After several years working in oil, I moved to acrylics and mixed media.  Using my photographs along with graphite, pastel, and modeling gel, I try to create a world from a captured moment in life.
